Modern art in a historic setting from the 13th century - an unusual combination with a unique charm.

Haags Tower in Oberwesel forms part of the town wall. In 1865, it was purchased by the artist Carl Haag, who carefully restored it. Since 1997, the tower has been in the possession of the Höhn family, who use it as living quarters and as a gallery.

For more than 15 years, Gallery owner Barbara Höhn has been organising art exhibitions here. She is a co-founder of the registered society DiDa Art, and cooperated with the state of Rhineland-Palatinate to set up the sculpture park in Oberwesel, with twenty sculptures.
